Supplements That Help High Blood Pressure

If you have blood pressure there are some supplements you can take that might help you lower it.  Most of them are natural enough that you can take them along with any prescription drugs that a doctor recommends for you, however it is best to check with your M.D. before you take any type of supplement.



A mineral that is essential in helping to combat hypertension is magnesium because magnesium is essential for the production of adenosine triphosphate or ATP for short. You should be aware that long-term use of aspirin has been shown to increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, plus a few people have been known to suffer allergic reactions such as hives, rashes or swelling.



No-one lives with uncontrolled high blood pressure for very long, so unless coming to an unnecessary premature end, you need to check your blood pressure and then if you have hypertension. It really is a good idea to eat right, get fit and get on the medication or supplements that might be needed.  Losing weight also helps.
